Alistair builds e-voucher system for AirAsia. We’re absolutely thrilled to be working with AirAsia, undoubtedly the most dynamic airline in recent years. AirAsia has commissioned Alistair to build a new e-voucher system to aid in the airline’s customer loyalty enhancement programs.
According to Matthew Scott-Mackie, Alistair’s IT Director,
“The entire team at Alistair was thrilled to be working with AirAsia, whom we admire and regard as an airline that is not afraid to think outside of the box, and that refuses to be held down by conventional thinking and legacy methods.”
“What we admire most is AirAsia’s passionate and relentless pursuit to make air travel accessible and affordable to every one.  To succeed and grow in the way that the airline has in just 4 years and during such a volatile period of the industry, is testimony that imagination, creativity, intelligence and commitment are key qualities that will lead the way in today’s competitive business environment.”

“These qualities are what we are building Alistair on.  We’re the new Asian airline software kid on a street lined with international legacy giants.  But, we’ve paid a high price of research and development over the past 4 years to enter this complex business.  As a young and passionate company, we’re excited by the challenges ahead and we’re convinced that what’s going to shape today’s modern airline industry is fresh new thinking and new business plans.  These plans need to be supported by fresh, innovative and adaptive software solutions.  You can’t buy them off the conventional shelf.”
Alistair is a new aviation solutions company specializing in providing custom solutions – from operations systems such as Fleet Utilization, Crew Scheduling and Ground Operations to marketing, commerce and CRM solutions – for the dynamic and modern airline.  It also implements SMS, wireless, biometrics and GPS technologies into systems for clients who want the best speed, efficiency and productivity.
Alistair recently launched a new breed of Crew Scheduling system that is faster, more adaptive and customizable, and that is more intuitive to use than other crew management systems.
Called INFINET Crew Systems, it comes with many features never before found in a core system.  An example is its Multi-AOC capability.  This feature allows one airline, having bases in several countries, to manage all its crew scheduling in one system – saving the airline several times over, and greatly enhancing reporting and crew management.
“We certainly will do a great job for AirAsia and we hope to earn a place with them as a reliable, innovative and passionate IT partner.”
“2007 is an exciting year for us.  Watch this space.”
